HistoryOn the 7-th July 1998 began the History of our business, when the newly formed company JSC "Medodar" passed the initial registration. Since the state of the industry of the 1998 pushed us to prioritize in the processing and packaging of honey for further implementation, the main efforts were aimed at opening our own facilities for processing. And in August 1998, on the initiative of financial and industrial company "Deca" the first production for processing of bee products was opened – the workshop for processing and packaging of honey in a glass container (capacity 130, 300 and 495 gr. with the capacity up to 40 tons per month). During six years of productive labor the company has actively developed. It has established direct supply connections to the beekeepers from all over Ukraine, plant production in processing and packaging of honey was at advantage, and gradually the range has been expanded to 40 products, including honey mixture with nuts. Consulting support has been provided by the state enterprise "Kyyivbdzholoprom." The sales of the ready products, at that time, has been carried through exclusive sales agent - Trading House "Moravia". In 2004 JSC Medodar because of the strong increase in output was into Oleksandrivskiy LLC reorganized. As soon as the company reached the design capacity of the first stage the company started construction of a main plant. New modern equipments, that had no analogues at that time in Ukraine, has been installed as well. Modern equipment was entirely new and employed irregular ways of dealing with loosening the honey, removing of air bubbles and moisture. These improvements positively affected the quality and quantity of the final product as well as the price. Active seven-year old company's work has brought it's adequate results. Increase in the volume of production and gained experience opened for the company new professional horizons. It was time for the company to enter foreign markets and it became necessary to rethink the company's name and trademark in accordance to the European standards. Therefore, in early 2011 the company had quite radical rebranding, which aimed to increase the customers loyalty to the company, increasing the uniqueness of the brand and attracting new customers. The updated brand "Medodar" confidently engaged commercial networks, on both, national and local levels. As well as an international orientation of the Sun Bee Ukraine LLC allowed us to establish export connections with the CIS and the EU countries. |
